Online Coverage of IAS 2009
Together with our online partners, Clinical Care Options and NAM, IAS organizers will make it easier than ever for journalists and other interested parties to access timely conference-related information on the Internet.
IAS 2009 Programme-at-a-Glance
To broaden access to the conference programme, the full text of all accepted abstracts, as well as speaker PowerPoint slides*, speeches*, e-posters*, audio files and session summaries written by the conference rapporteurs will be available to the public free of charge through the online Programme-at-a-Glance (PAG), accessible through the IAS 2009 homepage during the conference. Official daily press releases and the daily on-site bulletin also will be posted to the website each morning.

Online Scientific Analysis Provided by Clinical Care Options
Clinical Care Options (CCO) is a comprehensive resource for journalists and media staff covering scientific data presented at IAS 2009. As the official online partner for scientific analysis at IAS 2009, CCO’s summaries of key data and analyses by expert faculty will provide accurate references and detailed background for delegates and reporters during the conference and in the weeks that follow. During the meeting, check for CCO’s downloadable audio highlights, in which leading experts provide timely analyses of the significance of studies presented in selected oral sessions. Additional educational resources will be available from clinicaloptions.com after the conference, such as downloadable slide presentations and Expert Analyses.

Online Scientific Reporting from IAS 2009 Provided by NAM
NAM has been selected to serve as the first official provider of online scientific reporting for the IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention. NAM’s online coverage from Cape Town will include: news stories on major scientific presentations made freely available on aidsmap.com; discussion of the practical implications of key scientific developments through new online discussion forums for HIV implementers in developing countries; and a daily English-language electronic news bulletin summarizing key scientific news stories from the previous day (to be published each afternoon and translated into French, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian).
